Works with Mistral Le Chat

Mistral MCP

Connect Mistral's Le Chat to the software your business already runs on. FloConnector is a hosted MCP server: add one endpoint as a custom connector, sign in once, and Le Chat can work in your tools.

58 connectors · 6,533 tools · one endpoint

The Mistral Le Chat walkthrough, 2:23.

Setup

Connecting Mistral Le Chat

Le Chat supports MCP connectors, so it plugs into the same profile endpoint as every other client. Add it once, sign in with your FloConnector account, and the profile's tools are available in Le Chat. Nothing about the endpoint changes between clients, which is the point of the protocol.

The steps mirror the walkthrough in the docs, which is the source of truth if Mistral moves a menu.

Full guide in the docs
  1. Open Le Chat and go to its Connectors settings.
  2. Choose to add a custom connector or MCP server.
  3. Name it after your workspace and paste your profile endpoint as the server URL.
  4. Save. Le Chat sends you to the FloConnector sign-in page.
  5. Sign in with the email on your FloConnector account and approve access to the profile.

When it does not work

Known snags, and what to do

Most MCP write-ups stop at the happy path. These are the things that genuinely catch people out with Mistral Le Chat.

There is no option to add a connector

Custom MCP connectors in Le Chat are a paid-plan feature. If you cannot see the option, check your plan before anything else.

The connector saves but no tools appear

Remove it and add it again. If it still shows nothing, check in the dashboard that the connection behind the profile is connected and that you are an assigned member of the profile.

A large profile is slow to load

Split it across two profiles. Exposing every tool you own to one connection costs load time and gives the model more options than it uses well.

Questions, answered

Does Mistral Le Chat support MCP?

Yes, on its paid plans. Le Chat takes a custom MCP connector, so it can point at a FloConnector profile endpoint the same way Claude and ChatGPT do.

Is the setup different from Claude or ChatGPT?

No. The endpoint is the same standard MCP server. You add the URL in Le Chat's connector settings and authorise it once.

Does Le Chat see my credentials?

No. FloConnector holds each vendor credential encrypted and calls the vendor itself. The client only sees tools and results.

Not using Mistral Le Chat only

The same endpoint works in other clients

A FloConnector profile is a standard MCP server, not a Mistral Le Chat integration. Nothing about it changes between clients, so you authorise each one once and they all reach the same tools.
